CBD, CBG, and CBN: A Plain-English Guide

CBD gets all the attention, but our full-spectrum products also contain other hemp compounds you will see on the label: CBG and CBN. Here is a quick, plain-English guide to what they are.

CBD (cannabidiol)

The best-known compound in hemp and the one most people come in asking about. It is non-intoxicating, meaning it does not get you high, and it is the backbone of nearly everything we carry.

CBG (cannabigerol)

Often called the "mother cannabinoid" because the plant makes other cannabinoids from it as it grows. It shows up in smaller amounts than CBD, which is part of why full-spectrum products are nice: you get the supporting cast, not just the lead. You will find CBG paired with CBD in our daily tinctures and daytime gummies.

CBN (cannabinol)

A minor cannabinoid that is commonly featured in evening and nighttime formulas. We pair it with CBD in our Nighttime Tincture and Night Time Gummies for people who like something to reach for at the end of the day.

Why we blend them

Keeping these compounds together is the whole idea behind full spectrum. Rather than isolating one molecule, we keep the plant's natural mix intact. The milligrams and the exact blend are listed in each product's specs so experienced shoppers can dial in what they like.

The fine print
